Wafa Newaz

Born and raised in Dhaka—the buzzing capital of Bangladesh—Wafa made her way to the U.S. with her parents and two brothers to be closer to her dad’s side of the family. How close? Try nearly 200 family members… just in Montgomery County. Yep, that’s not a typo. (You’re not truly considered to be from South Asia, unless your cookout requires a megaphone and traffic control.)

A recent high school graduate (Class of 2023), Wafa is currently working toward her Associate’s degree in Business Administration, with plans to transfer for her Bachelor’s down the road. She’s fluent in English and Bengali and understands Hindi and Urdu well enough to nod at jokes and mildly judge TV plotlines—but she humbly admits she’s still working on speaking them fluently.

When she’s not studying or helping Scott hold down the fort in the office, Wafa is either buried in family time (think: nieces, nephews, laughter, and chaos in the best way) or hanging out with her tight-knit group of four friends—who honestly might as well live at her house. They know their way around her fridge better than she does and probably have more inside jokes with her mom than she does.

Before joining Top To Bottom Services, Wafa worked in retail as a beauty advisor, tutored younger students in high school, and even dabbled in e-commerce. Now, she’s diving headfirst into the business world with us—learning everything from customer service to communication, operations, and the ins and outs of the real estate market. She’s soaking it all in and adding her signature warmth and energy to everything she touches.

What makes her feel right at home? The friendly, supportive (and occasionally quirky) environment at TTBS. She says it’s helped her see the potential in herself and given her space to grow. And while she insists she’s the one learning from us, truth be told—we’re learning a thing or two from her, too.

We’re thrilled to have her on the team and can’t wait to watch her rise. She’s already one of the family.
