MD License #34769, Steffon was born in Guyana—located in South America—where he grew up in the Capitol, Georgetown. Of the many things he enjoyed about his time there, the sport “Cricket” was a favorite childhood pastime. He lived in South America until he was 10 years old and moved to the United States.

With his parents, brother and 2 sisters, he relocated to Lanham, MD to live with his grandmother, Norma. Steffon is thankful for all that his grandmother has done to raise him and his siblings, and all that she has devoted to ensuring they have a better life than her.

One of the biggest priorities for Steffon is spending time with his beautiful partner Marines, and their daughter Leomi—especially escaping to the beach during the warmer months.

Everyone who meets Steffon can instantly tell by his personality that he is a social butterfly, with a calming personality. He enjoys meeting new people and can make everyone laugh to break the ice, or simply convey a point. Steffon’s ability to communicate with clients as if he’s known them for years would make even the most nervous first-time homebuyer feel relaxed!

Steffon has worked—in one fashion or another—in or around inspection services since 2016. Having worked as a Maintenance Technician for a health and rehabilitation center, he is very familiar with short notice service requests with tight deadlines; not entirely different from the way the real estate market has been as of late. Steffon also worked as route manager for a leading pest inspection company where many of the clients he helped schedule appointments for were in the process of purchasing a new home.

While in this position, Steffon learned that he and his partner would be having their first child! Wanting to be able to provide the best life for his child, Steffon decided to pursue a career that not only aligned with his skillset but provided the needed flexibility for a first-time parent—he found Home Inspections and knew that it was the right career for him.

Having trained with another inspection company for some time, Steffon saw an opportunity to hone and sharpen his skills by joining the Top To Bottom Services team, and we couldn’t be happier to have him aboard!

Steffon enjoys being outside! Whether hiking at Scott’s Run, walking the trails at Great Falls Park or taking his daughter Leomi to swing at a playground, he just enjoys being outside experiencing nature. A personal goal of his is to go fishing out on the open ocean and catch a huge blue fine tuna—until then, Steffon loves to watch NatGeo Wild’s “Wicked Tuna” as a way to live vicariously through the New England Fishermen trying to catch a “Monstah” tuna!
