But seriously, mold doesn’t knock—it loves moisture, so if water found its way into your home through a leak or back-up, you can assume mold is right behind it. Mold testing in Maryland is essential to discovering an issue, because while there may be clues such as an odor—like the perfume you bathe in Karen—sometimes you never see or smell anything until it’s already causing you and your family health concerns.

How do you test?
We perform certified testing, with independent third-party lab analysis.
→ If there are no visible signs of mold, we will perform air sampling. After all, it’s the airborne spores that cause the health issues associated with mold exposure. Each sample tests approx. 1,000 sqft of air, so we typically recommend 1 sample per floor.
→ If visible growth is present, we will take a swab sample to identify if it is truly mold, as well as a targeted air sample to verify if it is actively releasing spores.
→ Samples are sent to a certified lab, and results are then communicated to the clients
